Life is a constellation of moments - a collection of big days, ordinary times, and fleeting experiences.

And through it all, we want to be seen. We deserve to be seen exactly as we are - real, ever changing, and always beautiful.

This is why I take photographs - to capture people in all their joy, vulnerability, silliness, and love. To take photos that simply, and completely, feel like you.

About Me

I'm Hayf (they/she), a Lebanese-Palestinian queerdo living as an uninvited guest on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Watuth, and Squamish Peoples. I have deep gratitude for the Two-Spirit, trans, and gender diverse Indigenous people and their families who have lived on this land since time immemorial.

I'm a photographer, a partner, an enthusiastic pretzel maker, and a devoted unkie. I'm the child and grandchild of refugees and am fiercely proud to parent my two beautiful kids. To me, taking photos is an opportunity to document change, growth, vulnerability, and joy. In my life, so much has (and continues to) evolve and I often find myself curled up on the couch looking back at pictures. Photos helps me remember moments, things that made me laugh, and the reasons I cry. They remind me of where I've been and ground me in where I'm headed.

I believe that everyone deserves to have photos that mean something to them. Photos where you can't help but say, "wow, I look beautiful". I can’t wait to take your photo.
